Heron Isles CDD Board of Supervisors – Seat No. 4
Term runs to November 2026
Interested Persons must respond by 5:00 PM on November 10, 2025
Notice is hereby given of a vacancy occurring in Seat No. 4 of the Board of Supervisors (“Board”) of the Heron Isles Community Development District (“CDD”). The Board is comprised of five supervisors. Pursuant to Florida law, the Board shall fill the vacancy by an appointment for the remainder of the term.
If you are interested in being considered to fill the vacancy in Seat No. 4, please submit your qualifications, including a resume and/or a letter of interest, to the District’s Recording Secretary, Courtney Hogge, by email at chogge@gmsnf.com. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m. on November 10, 2025.
The Board will evaluate qualifications and vote on an appointment at a public meeting scheduled for November 18, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Blackrock Baptist Church, 96362 Blackrock Rd, Yulee, FL 32097. Interested persons are encouraged to attend and present their qualifications to the Board.
Minimum Qualifications: You must be a United States citizen 18 years of age or older, a legal resident of the State of Florida and of the CDD, and be registered to vote in Nassau County, Florida.

The Heron Isles Community Development District is a local, special purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and created by ordinance of the Nassau County as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities. A CDD provides the “solution” to Florida’s need to provide valuable community infrastructure generated by growth, ultimately without overburdening other governments and their taxpaying residents. Community Development Districts represent a major advancement in Florida’s effort to manage its growth effectively and efficiently. This allows a developer to establish higher construction standards, meanwhile providing a long-term solution to the operation and maintenance of the community’s facilities.
